Gifts for Father's Day 0
Father's Day is coming soon Sunday 17th June. Say thank you to Dad, Daddy, Stepdad, Grandad with a little gift designed here at Dreamair. We have tins they can put their bits and pieces in - maybe to help tidy up their man drawer! If you have a different word e.g. Pops, Grandpa that's no problem just put the note in when you order and we will do that for you.
Interesting fact: June 6, 1872 - Pioneering feminist Susan B. Anthony was fined for voting in a presidential election at Rochester, New York. She led a group of women that voted illegally, to test their status as citizens. She was arrested, tried and sentenced to pay $100, which she refused. In August of 1920, the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was finally ratified, allowing women to vote.

Well the Royal Wedding was a great success, thank you to lots of you who bought from our Harry and Meghan commemorative range. At Dreamair we are now full into our Wedding season and this week we are featuring gifts for her including: bridesmaid, maid and matron of honour, mother of the bride and groom and of course the bride. The first woman to fly solo from England to Australia, British aviator Amy Johnson is one of the inspiring female figurehead of the 20th century. On 26 May 1930, she completed the 11,000 mile round-trip from Croydon to the northern Australian city of Darwin in 19 days.- Mair Williams

On this day in 1929, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences hands out its first awards, at a dinner party for around 250 people held in the Blossom Room of the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.

Godmother gifts are usually associated with Christenings. However, at Dreamair we sell our godmother wine glasses for Birthdays, Xmas and the most on Mother's Day which in most of the world isn't in March as it is in the UK but the 2nd Sunday in May, this year on May 13th. As with all our hand painted gifts they can be personalized with names and dates.
Interesting fact:The Penny Black was the world's first official adhesive postage stamp. It was issued on 1st May, 1840 and in use from 6th May, 1840.
